Crows & Houses

My finished wax crow from Stephanie's Hand-Formed Simple Sculpture class.
I love this beast.
He is ever so tactile and weighty and substantial.
I *get* sculpture!

And work in progress ... though almost complete ... Sacred Mouse House.
The second in my Crows & Houses 2015 theme.

Obviously more house, less crow, In this one!

    1. Thank you Michele ... for your kind words ... for visiting!
The crow really does have a certain heft to it that begs to be touched, coddled, stroked!

    1. Thank you Carol. I'm having much fun exploring plaster within my yearlong theme. Just the right mix of open ended and confinement!

    1. Thanks Second Carol In A Row! ;)
As a potter I'm sure you can appreciate the tactility (word? is now!) of plaster.
And it suits my "let's get this show on the road" nature to a "T"!
